Dry Fix Roofing Systems
Dry fix roofing systems offer numerous benefits, making them an ideal solution for both new installations and roof repairs. One of the key advantages is that they are virtually maintenance-free, providing a clean and attractive appearance without the hassle of ongoing upkeep. These systems eliminate issues like cracked cement, preventing rain from entering and causing damage such as rotten roof spas. They are also highly resistant to strong winds that could otherwise dislodge tiles, and they deter birds and large insects from entering your roof space. Available in brown or grey, dry fix systems are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
At Hardscape Driveways and Roofing, we can install and replace dry roofing systems, including replacing traditional mortar with a maintenance-free dry fix system. We carefully remove old dry ridge and dry verge components, repairing any damaged areas to ensure your roof is both safe and secure.
Benefits of Dry Verge
Dry verge systems are known for their strength, durability, and ease of installation. They provide a weathertight, maintenance-free solution that emulates the appearance of traditional verge designs. With options suitable for various tile types, such as Double Roman, Edgemere, Ludlow Major, Mendip, and Modern tiles, they are versatile and effective.
For roofs without bargeboards, dry verge systems are an excellent choice, and they can be paired with universal batten extensions to ensure a smooth conversion from traditional mortar to dry fix systems.
Dry Valley Systems
Dry valley systems offer superior functionality and compatibility with a variety of roof styles. They provide effective weathertight ventilation in the roof slope, offering up to 10,000mm² of ventilation area for natural airflow, mechanical systems, or soil pipe ventilation. These systems are compatible with both concrete and clay plain tiles, as well as interlocking tiles.
Key Advantages of Dry Valley Systems:
- Mortar-free dry fix system for long-lasting, maintenance-free performance.
- Accommodates up to a 20-degree pitch variance on either side of the valley.
- Suitable for pitches up to 60 degrees.
- Unique profile design maximizes water discharge rates while maintaining a polished, close-cut roof appearance.
